Stainless Steel 316 Seamless Pipe is the second most used pipe type in the world. It is an austenitic stainless steel grade that has 4% molybdenum in the composition. The chromium, nickel and molybdenum content makes the Stainless Steel 316 Seamless Pipe stronger, corrosion resistant and ductile. The material also has carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur and silicon which provide the DIN 1.4401 AISI 316 Rectangular Pipe with 205MPa minimum yield strength and 515MPa minimum tensile strength. The applications differ greatly but the strength, corrosion resistance and the high temperature abilities make the pipes to be used as316 stainless steel exhaust pipe in exhaust systems as well.
