ASTM A350 LF2 Flanges are made for low temperature as well as atmospheric temperature service pipelines. The flanges are made up of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, molybdenum, copper, chromium, nickel, vanadium and niobium in smaller amounts. The material is strong and has up to 655MPa minimum tensile strength, 250MPa minimum yield strength, 22% elongation and 197HBW Brinell hardness. These flanges can normalized or tempered to harden them further. The LTCS ASTM A350 Lf2 Flanges support forging, rolling and machining operation with most other forming operations.

The flanges range from ½ inches to 64 inches in general. There are different pressure classes to the flanges depending on the wall thickness, diameter and the heat treatment. There are classes 150 through 2500 of the CS A350 Lf2 Flange and pressure numbers ranging from PN6, PN10, PN16, etc. The flange schedules range from sch10 through XXS and custom schedules as well. Different types of connections require different types of flanges. Different face types such as flat face, raised face and ring type joint are available. The A350 Lf2 Grade Pipe Flanges also come in different functional types such as welding neck flange, slip on flange and lap joint flange. The difference is in the functions are useful in different applications.

The A350 Gr Lf2 Cl1 Weld Neck Flanges are used to hold the pipes in the welded neck for more grip while welding. Most flanges are welded for better tightness. However, there are threaded and bolted flanges available as well. The A350 Gr Lf2 Class 1 Slip On Flanges as well as class 2 flanges are available.
