A671 Gr.CC65 Cl.22 S2 Pipe manufacturer, check A671 Gr CC65 pipe Specification and Equivalent here
ASTM A671 CC65 Cl22 belongs to the ASTM A671 specification which is for electric fusion welded, filler material which is created from pressure vessel grade plates. The CC65 is the grade of the pipe and the cl22 is the class of the pipe. Multi Metals (India) is a leading manufacturer and supplier of the ASTM A671 CC65 Cl22 pipes in various sizes, shapes and forms. The CC65 grade pipes are of killed, plain carbon with fine grain structure.
The pipes are larger diameter pipes with outer diameters ranging from 16 inches to 100 inches in nominal bore sizes and classes ranging from 10 to 42. The class 22 is a medium class that has schedules ranging from sch20 through XXS and all grades according to customer requirements. The ASTM A671 Grade CC65 pipes come in single random, double random and cut to length sizes up to 13m length. The wall thickness of the pipes range up to 250mm. The A671 CC65 Cl22 EFW Pipe can be welded with oxyacetylene, submerged electric arc and electric fusion welding as well.
But the material has to be preheated to avoid welding cracks. The ASTM A671 Grade CC65 Class 22 also has to be post weld heat treated and cooled before operation. The material has 240MPa minimum yield strength and up to 585MPa minimum tensile strength. This is greater than the mechanical properties of the ASTM A671 Gr.CC65 Cl.13 and other lower classes. The pipes also support forming operations such as machining, sand blasting, shot blasting, expansion, drawing and heat treatment procedures. Please feel free to contact us for more information on the ASTM A671 Gr CC65 Cl22 S2 products and the prices.
