DIN 2391-1 Cold Drawn Tube is made up of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus and sulfur. There are three different standards in the grade. St 35, 45 and 52 are different in the carbon content and manganese content. The St35 has 0.17% carbon maximum and the St52 has 0.22% carbon maximum. The DIN 2391-1 Grade ST52 Tube has the highest manganese content of 1.6% in the composition.

Depending on the standards and the composition, the minimum yield strength ranges from 235MPa to 420MPa and the minimum tensile strength ranges from 315MPa to 640MPa for the Tubo DIN 2391 products. There are seamless pipes, welded pipes and ERW pipes along with U tubes, clad pipes, boiler tubes and hydraulic pipes. The DIN 2391-1 Cold Drawn or Cold Rolled Steel Tube can be used in oil and gas pipe lines, fluid transfer lines, boiler pipes and heat exchanger pipes. The forms are round, square, rectangular and hydraulic types.
