DIN 2448 Seamless Steel tube comes in different grades and the mechanical properties are divided into table1, 2 and 3. The DIN 2448 Tube Material is made up of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, molybdenum, nickel, aluminum, copper, niobium, titanium and vanadium in the composition.
The Steel St37 DIN 2448 material is divided into various grades such as R1 and R2. Depending the grades, the maximum chromium, copper, nickel and molybdenum content is defined to 0.7% of the composition. The ST37 Steel DIN 2448 Tube has minimum 0.13mm and maximum 0.2mm carbon in the composition. The minimum yield strength ranges from 320MPa to 410MPa for various Tube types and the minimum tensile strength ranges from 440MPa to 570MPa. The DIN 2448 Steel Tube ranges in outer diameters from 4mm to 1219.2mm and wall thicknesses from 0.5mm to 20mm.
The schedules range from sch5 through XXS. There are also single random, double random and custom cut to length sizes. The material can be welded with different welding procedures. Depending on the high temperature of the welding procedure, the Tubo DIN 2448 material could be preheated, filler added and post weld heat treated.
