The DIN 2609 Grade TStE 355 Carbon Steel Seamless Tubes and welded tubes are used in high pressure and high temperature applications. The carbon steel material has carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, molybdenum, nickel and chromium in the composition. The TStE 355 Steel Pipe has minimum 390MPa yield strength and 510MPa minimum tensile strength.
These pipes are made as welded, seamless, ERW, EFW, fabricated and other types. The DIN 2609 Gr TStE 355 Pipe is used in petroleum, petrochemical, oil and gas and in other high temperature applications such as boilers and heat exchangers. The material is thermally conductive and transfers heat very well. This quality of the DIN 2609 Grade TStE 355 Welded Pipe is useful in high temperature welding. The welding crack does not occur due to high heating. However, the pips can be preheated and post weld heat treated depending on the grade of pipe and the welding procedure.
Due to the high corrosion resistance of the material, it can also be used as DIN 2609 Grade TStE 355 Clad Pipe.
