Each of them has its own specialty. The standard series has 5 different types and is prioritized for the surface hardness with minimal alloying elements. The hardness of the standard JFE EH Steel Plates is 340HBW. The high toughness series has three different types with toughness at high and low temperatures up to -40 degrees Celsius. The Jfe Everhard High Strength Plates are also high weld crack resistant and the internal hardness is enhanced.
The hardest is the super abrasion resistant plate type that has very high abrasion resistance with 500HBW hardness. The Abrasion Resistant Jfe Eh Steel Plates are also used in dump trucks, excavator buckets, crushers, lining plates, tracks, rails and other abrasive and high wear and tear applications. The Jfe Everhard Wear Plates are cost effective because they last longer and avoid replacement due to wearing. Once installed, they can perform for long time.
